Roger Bilodeau

Lawyer

Roger Bilodeau is a native of Ste-Agathe, Manitoba. He has been admitted to the law societies of Manitoba, New Brunswick and Ontario and has practiced law in English and French in those three jurisdictions at different intervals between 1981 and 2020.

He was also a professor of law at the Faculté de droit de l’Université de Moncton from 1984 to 1999. From 1999 to 2003, he had the privilege of serving as Deputy Attorney General and Deputy Minister of Justice for New Brunswick.

From March 2009 to May 2020, he occupied the position of Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada. S

ince June 2020, he works on a part-time basis as an arbitrator and legal consultant, both in Canada and abroad.
