A lawyer at the Quebec Bar and admitted at the Paris Bar, Valentin Callipel is a recognized expert in legal artificial intelligence, cyberjustice, and online dispute resolution.
As the head of mission at the Cyberjustice Laboratory of the University of Montreal, he brings over a decade of experience delivering digital transformation projects for legal and judicial processes in Canada and internationally—working with public, private, and governmental organizations.
He currently leads a research initiative funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) on the use of AI for conflict prevention.
