The Territorial Strategy for Africa is based on five pillars: the economy, education and post-secondary education, culture, international solidarity and institutional capacity building. It aims to strengthen Québec’s position on the African continent and increase exports and trade. 

The Strategy also aims to strengthen ties with the various African diasporas present in Québec, which contribute to the vitality and diversity of our society. It constitutes a true multisectoral bridge between Québec and Africa for the mutual benefit of the Québec and African populations.
