Vision
An intergovernmental forum that plays a leadership role in the Canadian Francophonie
 

Mission
Encourage reflection and action for the growth of the Canadian Francophonie
 

Overall outcome
Greater recognition of the Canadian Francophonie from governments and various sectors of society in order to promote its progress
 

Strategic outcome 1

  • Enhanced delivery of French-language services
    • Strenghten intergovernmental collaborative mecanisms with regard to the Canadian Francophonie in order to increase the offer of French-Language services in Canada
       

Strategic outcome 2

  • Productive reflections, discussions, and initiatives on subjects that have an impact on the development of the Canadian Francophonie
    • Encourage reflection and discussion among governments in order to undertake initiatives in various spheres of activity leading to the development of the Canadian Francophonie
       

Strategic outcome 3

  • Improved collaboration with key stakeholders
    • Work closely with stakeholders in the Canadian Francophonie to maximize Conference activities
       

Strategic outcome 4

  • Greater promotion of the Canadian Francophonie
    • Promote the value added of the Canadian Francophonie to Canadian Francophonie as a whole

 


1 The 2015-2020 Strategic Plan was adopted at the 2014 ministerial meeting by all governments, with the following statement: “While recognizing and accommodating the different constitutional, legal, and policy positions of each government, the members of the Conference intend to use its various planning tools to guide their work together.”
